A Bit More

Born in the Philippines and raised in Edmonton, Merilyn received her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta, where she majored in Marketing. She’s a huge proponent for self-development and leadership, as seen through her involvement with the local and national chapters of AIESEC.

Merilyn’s abilities to lead a successful team and to think outside of the box, led her to winning the annual B2C award for her marketing team in AIESEC Edmonton. She hopes that she can bring that same marketing savvy to her role as Digital Content Creator under the Bluetrain Social Media and Content Creation Team.

Aside from her passion for creative marketing, she also loves to travel, enjoy the outdoors, and meet new people! While she loves being around others, she also enjoys her alone time, where she gets a chance to meditate and listen to her favourite podcasts.
