Who We Want:

The Digital Sales Specialist role will be a primary driver for new business development, networking activity and being the coordinator of  proposal generation for inbound leads. Additionally, this role requires managing our sales CRM and proposal software systems. The role requires a strong desire to build relationships, find solutions, and a desire to build a sales funnel that is sustainable over the course of a year. Job Description:
  • Work with the President & Director of Client Services to establish a sales strategy.
  • Implement assigned sales strategy tactics to drive business development activity.
  • Perform prospecting research on target sales audiences.
  • Represent Bluetrain in assigned business networking events/groups 
  • Promote Bluetrain’s services by outbound calling, sales meetings, presentations, social media and other sales techniques.
  • Be the lead on handling inbound leads and relevant RFP opportunities
  • Develop and nurture new strategic vendor partnerships to grow business.
  • Manage, maintain and update proposal templates on a regular basis
  • Track qualified prospect sales activity in the CRM
  • Be accountable to both updating and following the Sales Process.
  • Work closely with the client services team to successfully onboard new clients
  • Participate in relevant Client Services team meetings to ensure cohesiveness and overall positive client experience.
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in Business, Communications, or Marketing or equivalent is preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of business development experience selling to decision-makers
  • A proven track record of new B2B customer sales
  • Enjoys professional networking and attending business events
  • Experience with professional business proposal writing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outgoing personality comfortable with outbound prospecting
  • Highly results-driven individual
  • Strategic-minded consultative selling style
  • Experience across digital marketing channels an asset
