Our Social Media Marketing Services

Social Media Strategy

In Edmonton’s Social Media Marketing landscape, whether Organic or Paid, you can’t shoot in the dark and hope something sticks. You need to be strategic. As a top social media agency in Edmonton, we offer three different strategic services to help guide & prep you for the social media landscape.

Social Media Audit

A social media audit is a great way to have a fresh set of eyes and take a deep-dive look at what’s happening both internally and externally with your social media efforts.

Our Social Media Audit consists of an analysis and recommendations on everything social, including your: Social Platform Audit, Social Content Audit, Competitor Audit, and Social Analytics Audit.

Let us give your social media presence a fresh perspective and guide you toward enhanced performance and engagement.

Social Media Strategy

It all starts with a plan. Your social media marketing strategy will provide you with detailed information about your audience personas, which social media channels we recommend for your business, how often to post, what to consider for brand voice and tone, and how you can cultivate a highly engaged community of followers with a recommendation for quality content.

Many of our clients choose for their social media strategy to be integrated within a more all-encompassing Digital Marketing Strategy, which includes tactics across all online channels. We believe that having a responsive, strategic approach to social media unlocks true, measurable success in your marketing efforts.

Our social media strategy packages consist of…

  • Two-hour discovery meeting with key team members in your organization to determine your marketing goals, learn more about your previous efforts and determine where we want to take your organization and how marketing can support you;
  • Industry best practices and competitor analysis;
  • Recommendations on the next steps including what social platforms to focus on, what content to create, what digital advertising to invest in and more;
  • Presentation to your team of our findings and recommendations; and
  • Support with implementation of your strategy with either your internal team, our team, or most of the time — both!

The outcome: a social media playbook that you can easily implement in your organization.

Strategic Advisory – Social Media

Whether you choose to handle your social media internally or outsource it without clear strategic guidance, we can help by offering guidance in shaping your strategic direction. Organic Social Media Management

Social media management is so much more than posting content. It’s asking the bigger questions, including: What content will we create to post? What content will reach our target audience online? How do we garner the most engagement while driving traffic back to our website?

As a social media management agency, we offer the following services to our clients:

  • Content strategy and planning;
  • Development of content for weekly posts;
  • Development of brand awareness and online reputation;
  • Regular posting to various platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and X;
  • Community management: replying to reviews, comments, and questions in a timely fashion;
  • Paid social advertisements to complement organic strategy;
  • Monthly Analytics Reporting, reviewed in Monthly Meetings.

Content Creation

Creating content for social media involves producing compelling photos and videos to share online. It includes capturing visually appealing moments, crafting engaging narratives, and tailoring content to resonate with the target audience, ultimately fostering connection and communication.

Our social media team can come on-site to capture both photo & video assets to be used for your organic and paid social media.

Paid Social Advertising

As companies like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter continue to monetize social media platforms, it is becoming more and more difficult for brands to reach and engage with fans organically. And while some businesses might groan at the idea of paying for what was once free marketing, social advertising still provides a great bang for your marketing buck. For clients interested in paid social advertising, Bluetrain offers the same customized and hands-on management approach that we offer all online advertising clients.

With over 2 billion active monthly users, Facebook is a great platform for most businesses to thrive! Learn how Bluetrain can help your company increase lead generation, conversions, and brand awareness with Facebook Advertising.

Paid Social Campaign Management

Our social media experts take responsibility on an ongoing basis to actively manage your paid social media marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and more. We never set and forget it, rather our specialists monitor campaign data and make ongoing adjustments to improve ad engagement on each social platform. We make the effort to provide detailed reporting to ensure you’re educated on your campaign results, what could be better, and key insights to take away.

Interested in learning more about how a good social media strategy can make social media work for you? As proven leaders in social media marketing, in Edmonton, we can tailor our expertise to your unique business needs.

Ready to take your social media strategy to the next level?

I have worked with Bluetrain on a few online campaigns and it was very easy to see the return on investment. They really understand the online space, and I was super impressed with the professionalism of their team members. They really took the time to understand (and clarify!) my goals, and they also took the time to educate me in a space that I have very little experience in. I highly recommend them to companies who want to drive their online sales and presence.

FAQ's

Determining which social networks will work best for your business depends upon the nature of your business, your audience, and your social media goals. Fashion and design brands, for example, tend to do well on Pinterest and Instagram, while a technology company might be better suited to platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn. Our social media marketing plans are designed to help you identify which social networks you can use to achieve these goals.

When it comes to post frequency, finding the right balance can be tricky. Post too often and you could risk annoying your followers; post too little and your brand won’t stand out. The frequency of your posts will also vary depending on the platform you’re using; while posting five to ten times a day might help grow your following on Twitter, the same frequency of posts on Facebook would probably lead to a lot of un-follows. Because it’s so important to get post frequency right, this is another area we focus on in our social media plans.

The first step to improving engagement with your content is simply to post better content. This is actually a lot harder than it sounds. It involves creating well researched, thought-provoking blog articles, including great visual and ensuring that your post copy is on point!

But the work doesn’t stop there. Once you have created highly engaging content, you must also spend time and effort on your promotion strategy so that your content actually reaches the people it was created for! You can do this by promoting the post (multiple times) both organically and through paid social promotion, posting at the right time of day, and even using retargeting to engage previous visitors and fans. By following these practices, you’ll start to see your social media numbers grow, which in turn will further increase the amount of engagement (likes/retweets/comments) you get with each post.

Creating organic conversations about your brand on social media is not something that can be achieved overnight, but with the right plan in place, you can get people talking.

Some strategies that might work as part of this plan could include activities like social media contests and giveaways, Twitter chats, Facebook live-streams and or even by simply posting polls and questions. The key to success with all of these marketing strategies, however, is to execute them in an authentic way, rather than looking like you’re asking for attention.

While organic posts and paid posts are both great ways to reach people on social media, in most cases, neither approach is sufficient on its own. Posting regular content through organic posts is important for engaging with your current followers, but at the same time, not everything you post will be seen by all of your followers.

Paid social advertising in the form of paid posts can help you reach both followers and people outside of your network (called amplification), which is great for brand awareness and exposure. Furthermore, paid posts often have higher click-through rates than organic posts, and receive far more likes, comments, and other forms of engagement.
